Minot Scheels

Minot SCHEELS first opened its doors in 1974 as a hardware store located at the Burdick and Broadway intersection. In 1980, a second store was built in the new Dakota Square Mall development and featured a selection of sporting goods equipment, apparel, and entertainment for the entire family. The hardware store closed in 1993 and staff was absorbed into the Dakota Square SCHEELS store. Since then, SCHEELS has gone under three expansions—2008, 2012, and 2022—making it a 100,000-square-foot shopping experience. The 2022 update brought both Minot SCHEELS locations under one roof and over doubled the square footage.

In addition, you’ll find SCHEELS Outfitters exclusive products, including camping equipment, hunting clothing, archery essentials, and much more.

For products that require continuous upkeep, the SCHEELS Service Shop has Barnett-certified technicians to help you maintain your bicycles to the highest quality. Our team of technicians has received the best training in the industry for Minn Kota Trolling motors, ICON exercise machines, ski and snowboard waxing, and much more.

In addition to specialty shops and services, the Minot SCHEELS shopping experience is like no other with archery lanes and bow techs that provide a wide variety of services including repair. We also have Gina’s Café, partnered with Driven Coffee Roasters, to produce a wide variety of hot, cold, and specialty beverages to complement your shopping experience. Additional family attractions include a Fuzziwig’s Candy Factory, Rollerball, and more!
